A stoma is a surgically created opening in the abdomen that allows waste to leave the body. Often necessary after cancer, inflammatory disease, or an accident, it saves lives — but it also profoundly changes daily life.

Too often taboo, misunderstood, and isolating, living with a stoma can be a silent struggle.

🔵 To remind everyone that living with a stoma means living, loving, hoping, walking, and moving forward
