They Weathered the Storm. They Turned It into Strength.

These women, living with breast cancer, discovered an unexpected source of energy in the midst of illness: the theater workshops offered at Association Dar Zhor.

Thanks to the workshops led with the Troupe 19H Théâtre, they dared to dream bigger. From simple exercises, the bold idea of a play was born. Despite fatigue, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and long journeys, they came—carried by the strength of this project.

🎭 Together, they created. Together, they rehearsed. Together, they built a play, “Bnat Dar Zhor,” which tells much more than a story: it embodies rebirth, an unbreakable bond, and a victory over illness.

Today, they step onto the stage as women of courage, as artists, as fighters.
